Listing

I'm quite solitary and probably a little odd, but I suppose that's part of the charm. I enjoy reading, playing chess, and losing myself for hours thinking about things probably no one ever asked me about: the universe, time, existence, death, and other such cheerful topics.

I'm not particularly good at small talk. I prefer to talk with someone for hours about a book, a silly idea, a game of chess, or anything that ends up becoming an unexpectedly profound conversation.

I also have a rather dry and dark sense of humor, and I can come across as somewhat blunt at first. It doesn't mean I dislike you; I probably just don't know how to start a conversation without sounding like I'm interrogating you.

I'm looking to meet people I can have genuine conversations with, without having to pretend to be more interesting, sociable, or normal than I am.
